Elle appréhende les trois composantes de la sexualité que sont les actes, les relations et les significations, en les inscrivant à la fois dans les trajectoires individuelles, dans le contexte social, les conditions de vie et les formes prises par les rapports entre les hommes et les femmes.Une approche de type « Santé et Sexualité » a été privilégiée en envisageant l’infection à VIH mais aussi la contraception, les IVG, les IST (Infections sexuellement transmissibles), les violences sexuelles, les dysfonctions et autres problèmes sexuels. L’enquête comprend en outre une extension épidémiologique visant à étudier, pour la première fois en France, la prévalence de l’infection à Chlamydiae Trachomatis et les facteurs de risque de la contamination. Database objective : The "Context of Sexuality in France" (CSF) survey took a broad perspective. It includes the three components of sexuality (acts, relationships and meanings), while simultaneously recording them in individual trajectories, in the social context, life circumstances and forms of the reports between men and women. A "Health and Sexuality" approach was prioritised to consider HIV infection as well as contraception, elective abortions, STIs (sexually transmitted infections), sexual violence, dysfunction and other sexual problems. The survey also includes an epidemiological extension aimed at studying, for the first time in France, the prevalence of Chlamydia Trachomatis infection and the risk factors for contamination. 09/2005 03/2006 Collecte des données active Current data collection France France métropolitaine Metropolitan France National individuel individuals Toute personne âgée de 18 à 69 ans, résidant en France métropolitaine et comprenant suffisamment bien la langue française pour être en mesure de répondre au questionnaire téléphonique était éligible. Plusieurs enquêtes étrangères ont limité l’âge d’inclusion à 45 ans. L’échantillon de l’enquête CSF étend la limite à 69 ans pour étudier comment la population gère sa vie affective et sexuelle dans un contexte d’allongement de la vie sexuelle. Every person between 18 and 69 years of age living in metropolitan France and able to understand the French language well enough to answer the telephone questionnaire was eligible. La sélection de l’individu repose sur unsondage aléatoire en deux phases avec une post-stratification sur l’âge. Une procédure de tirage complexe a permis de constituer un échantillon de coordonnéestéléphoniques couvrant les abonnés inscrits sur liste blanche et sur liste rouge. De plus, pourassurer au maximum la représentativité de l’échantillon total, les personnes qui ne disposaientque de téléphones mobiles ont également été incluses dans l’échantillon.Une fois le ménage joint, la deuxième phase consistait à sélectionner, selon la méthode anniversaire, l’individu à interroger au moment du contact téléphonique parmi l’ensembledes adultes éligibles de 18 à 69 ans habitant ce domicile. Probability sample. The selection of individuals is based on a two-phase random sample with a post-stratification based on age. A complex sampling procedure was used to establish a sample of telephone contact information covering those enrolled on a whitelist and a blocked list. Furthermore, in order to guarantee the maximum representativeness of the full sample, individuals who only had cell phones were also included in the sample. Once the household was reached, the second phase consisted of selecting, using the birthday method, the individual to be questioned at the time of the telephone call out of all of the eligible adults between 18 and 69 years of age living in this residence.
