Nombre d'individus : environ 500 décès de nouveau-nés de moins de 1 an par agglomération entre 2002 et 2009. Ce projet a été initialement déployé sur les 4 grandes agglomérations françaises: Lille, Paris, Lyon et Marseille et plus récemment l'agglomération de nice. Les données de mortalité infantile et néonatale ont été collectées auprès des registres des décès disponibles auprès des mairies des communes composant nos zones d'études. Les données relatives au poids, à la taille et au périmètre cranien du nouveau nés sont ont été collectées auprès de la PMI. Toutes les adresses postales ont été géocodées à l'échelle de l'IRIS. The geographical units used are the aggregated units for statistical information (IRIS), with an average population of 2,000 each. This project was initially deployed in 4 major French cities: Lille, Paris, Lyon and Marseille and more recently the Nice urban area. Data on infant and neonatal mortality were collected from the death registers available in the town halls of the municipalities making up our study areas. Data on weight, height and head circumference of newborns were collected from the maternal and infant protection (PMI) centres. All postal addresses were geocoded on the IRIS scale. Données socioéconomiques collectées en 1999 et mise à jour en 2006 par l’INSEE (Institut National de la Statistique et des Études Économiques). Données sanitaires recueillies sur le terrain par des enquêteurs formés à cet effet auprès des services d’Etat civil des mairies des communes. Mesure des expositions environnementales (pollution atmosphérique urbaine, proximité aux industries polluantes, nuisances sonores). Socio-economic data collected in 1999 and updated in 2006 by the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE). Health data collected in the field by investigators trained in the registry offices of the town halls municipalities. Measurement of environmental exposure (urban atmospheric pollution, proximity to polluting industries, noise pollution).
